Today we tried out a private server for the MMORPG Shaiya, as the last time we tried the game we were told that the official server was..

So here it is, us trying it…. Actually your portrayal of Shaiya is inaccurate. Your title leads to believe that nothing can be done to keep a character. There are two modes to Shaiya. A level 80 player will not earn any kill points for killing level 50 players for example. Simply put, players can purchase items in the shop which will grant them bonuses in battle. Groups of non-paying players can go up against a single whale, and the whale will win.

It is extremely unbalanced and quite frankly, ruins the game. However, unlike other old-school MMOs, Shaiya does not hold up at all. The main reason for this? The game is dead. Very, very dead. Shaiya forums are like graveyards. Look up Shaiya on YouTube, and the videos that come up are all years old. That is until Phoenix was shut down upon which most veterans of the game left entirely for private servers.

For years now, the most activity for Shaiya is in private servers, not the official one. P2W heavy game models are never a good thing. This is especially the case for an MMO that is also dead. Shaiya is like a chapter in the back of your social studies textbook that your teacher never gets around to covering in the semester.

Is it worth playing still? As it stands, the official Shaiya is no longer worth playing. I like this game, I want to Register and play now. Its about playing fair and you have no balls to play fair because it will hurt your egos. I managed to get my hands on this cheat today, this game will never be the same to me again. Its broke, it lost all its value to me.

Its just a game in the end but a game that had a beautiful community once. After the toxic shit elite contained inside of it for the past 3 months, I was happy to have left you all, but you seem to follow wherever I go. There is no escape, shaiya is a small community now and only cheaters and toxic people who bring me no joy or any pleasure remain. This is an old game, every exploit is known, no matter how secure a server is, these people will cheat. To all those fair players this is what you're dealing with: This is every player on elite that I saw who claimed "jump cut" looked like.

Here is what it looks like from my view: No reason for me to continue playing this game.
