Comment by Faell If you already own any of the items that you purchased or were given to you, but you yourself are now fixing to complete the Shadowmourne quest, you have a problem. Four of the items and unique and therefore the quests to receive the items cannot be completed while you already own them. Putting the items into your bank won't work, none of the items are vendorable for buyback later, and putting the tabard into void storage won't work because it's unique I've not tested the tabard vendor yet.

Don't worry, there is another way! Thanks to Blizzard's newly released item restoration service, you can delete an item, finish the quest to receive the new item, mail it to an alt, and then use the restoration service to have your original returned to you via mail immediately.

There is one catch , the item restoration service may only be used once every thirty days, so you cannot do it for all four items at once. The order has a reason for most of it Pic here If you use Super Simian Sphere first before another xform item, the purple sphere remains arround you. So if I use Goren Garb after it, I'll be a goren in a purple sphere I apply World Shrinker and Tabard of the Lightbringer at the end while I'm sure World Shrinker can be used prior to anything else for the same effect.

Comment by tidus93 Just tested in this in the Legion prepatch PTR and it seems like you are able to transmog this tabard account wide HOWEVER you do not get the on-use effect assosiated with the tabard when you transmog it, you are only able to use the animation on the character that equipped it and unlocked the transmog. I made 2 Shadowmournes and sold both, yet I have the tabard in my appearances. A guildie let me know about this since I'm about to complete a 3rd one, so now I'll have another to sell instead of waste!

I completed the quest and unlocked it and could transmog tabards to look like it even when I traded it to a friend, though it did NOT unlock the appearance for him. EDIT: I sold the Tabard finally and when I did I still have the appearance so it's now definitely tied to the quest which rewards it not just having it in your inventory.
